Going to the game

  THE COOL RUGBY!!!!!!

On Sunday I went to see Canterbury + Taranaki play, my mum, brothers, dad and I were supporting Canterbury, unfortunately Taranaki Won! it was close just 21 to 24. It was like an amazing journey for me because it was more cool than I expected we got  food drinks and even an ice - cream. We also saw Josh and Blake they were both supporting Canterbury. After all it turned out to be a good time and extra cool because I got my shirt signed that Ryan Crotty gave me almost 2 years ago and that was exciting !! :) 

 

On friday they announced the winners of Yaldhurst's got talent and I am very proud of myself because I came 1st place, Catie lattimore came 2nd place and last but very most not least Tayla Bunz came 3rd place. Everybody got a certificate and the people who didn't come in places got a ten dollar gift voucher for westfield mall. the person that came 1st got three of the ten dollar gift vouchers that was of course me 2nd and 3rd got the same as me but two of them.  I felt really happy :)

Moving day :)

Today, Tilly and I felt  a bit nervous and very excited about moving classes. Kauri and Rimu are going into the old Matai and Totara , and Te pihinga ( Totara and Matai) are going into where the other classes were. We were moving classes. It was gross, weird and funny that when we were moving our desks that the girls had to go into the boys change room.

   

We had to move everything out of our classrooms. Once we had finished moving everything outside it was morning tea and...It started raining and we had to move it inside ( Tilly and I found it a bit funny.

After all it was a crazy day !!!

OH and in the school holidays builders will be in knock down the walls in Te Pihinga.

My Digi Award

Last week for our Digi Awards we used imovie on the ipads.We were doing a video of everyday heroes.the people in our imovie, Billie playing Olivia (Billie's the main character),Lauren playing Milliy, Nikoli playing mr. dyon and Olivia's dad and me playing Lulu. We were great at it and it was really fun.

Rocket Story

One morning when I woke I noticed every single thing outside was different . It was almost like this type of smoke or gas or something similar.

So as I would usually do on a daily basis I went to watch TV but that very second I saw a Rocket getting ready to launch.It was in our garden. So I swung my dressing gown on ,I ran faster than light years to the Rocket By two seconds I managed to get in. I got in by a ladder.

I went to Mars I got a Mars Bar, when I was coming back to Earth I went through the Milky way and I got a Milky way bar and that was the end of space. HOPE YOU LIKE IT !!!!

Nile crocodiles

Recently Catie and I have been working on our Nile crocodiles sheet.This sheet was trickier than the other ones we have been doing.I hope you like it.

Remembering: What are the Facts (Write your answer as a full sentence please)

1.Nile crocodiles live in hot parts lowland Africa where there are lots of rivers and swamps.

2.They use their powerful tail for exploding out of the water to attack their prey.

3.What are Nile crocodiles? 4.What predators kill the eggs?

Reptiles

Lately Catie & I have been learning about Reptilians in reading.


We have been doing this on our chromebook  for the very first time.

The features are amazing and cool!!!

Bad weather has thunder and lightning.It has rain and wind. It can snow and make hail like like snow.It can knock down power lines & trees.In some places it can even cause a tornado.

My Holiday

In the school holidays my auntie came to stay and she arrived at Easter. My auntie and I made cupcakes. I thought the cupcakes where lovely because they tasted delicious. My mum drove my brothers and my aunt to town to see the Botanical Gardens. They looked so beautiful. We saw the rose gardens. I thought they smelt nice. We also walked to the museum . My mum also drove us to Orana Park. We saw Californian Devils. They where so very cute!!!!!

On Sunday my dad got me my own chrome book I'm really happy now!!!

On Friday the 6th of March I got a certificate for spelling 283 words correct out of 290.I feel very proud of myself for getting these many words right!! And for the other people who got certificates well done!!

I am a Year 3 student at Yaldhurst Model School, located on the outskirts of Christchurch.
