Last friday, we also had a colour day, if we were dressed in colourful clothing we would have to bring a 'Koha' (donation), to be positive and raise money for The Muslim Community. This year, I was apart of counting the money, and being a small school, we were surprised how much we raised. We had raised $454 dollars. That day, we also shared the positive things we made in response, whilst we had two minutes of silence. Here are some photos:
I was wearing colourful tie dye socks!
This was my original drawing, then I paired up with Jedi and Chloe and we made this
awesome thing:
We wrote love in different language sand we added things like 'Kia Kaha' or 'You are us' and even "You are you and shouldn't change'.
As you can see my drawing of hands holding around the world is on there.
It was really great getting to see everyone's artwork.
I hope you enjoyed reading this post.
Did you do anything in response to what happened?
If so, what did you do?
